Cindy ‘Sin’ Masters is an award winning tattoo artist and owner of Masters of Ink Tattoo shop. The only thing taking buzz out of her tattoo gun is receiving yet another anonymous, threatening letter—she thought the first one was a joke, but four letters later it’s just creepy. When she is attacked outside the tattoo parlor, Sin barely escapes the electrifying barb of a taser gun and her possible stalker.
A friend hires Hunter Shaw, veteran Army Ranger and marine mechanic at the Crows Nest to be her bodyguard. Sin has no desire to be babysat by some stubborn, bossy, cowboy-wannabe, and she will decidedly ignore the fact that he’s entirely too sexy for words. But as the attraction escalates between Sin and the Cowboy who's got her six, so does the threat against her life.

She walked into the living room, the cool AC making goosebumps spread over her body. When she stopped in front of Hunter, his gaze went from her feet, moving at a slow pace up her thighs, to her hips, over the towel, lingering on her chest before moving up to her face. It felt like a caress, like he saw deeper into her, more than just the physical.

“What are you doing?” The lust in his voice was unmistakable.

Straddling him, Sin slid her hands around his neck, and kissed him. The tension in his body melted away as he gripped her hips, pulling her closer. The press of his erection against her made Sin want to ditch the towel and unzip his jeans. He took control, pacing the kiss, his tongue licking her lips as he thrust against her. She groaned and he sucked in a breath, breaking the kiss.

“Goddamn,” he rested his head on her shoulder.

She ran her hands through his short hair, the feeling slightly course against her palms. “Don’t stop.”

“This is a bad idea.”

“Doesn’t have to be. As long as we both know what it is.”

Just like everyone else, Sin didn’t plan on letting it get far. She didn’t do relationships. Even as something in her chest tightened at the thought of Hunter being with someone else, she denied the implication of caring about him. The jealousy earlier had just been because they were tattoo-girl wannabes. They got their ink to be in the hype, not as an art. Not because it was their passion. Hunter might get on her nerves, but he deserved better than that. Better than Sin too—but tonight, she just wanted to get lost in the lust.

“What is it then?”

“Sex.” She shrugged, still playing with his hair. “Two consenting adults, enjoying a night of passion, of orgasms, and screaming. No shame in the morning. No strings. Just fun tonight and tomorrow we go our separate ways.”

He smirked. “I still have to protect you.”

“Can you keep it from being awkward?”

Please say yes.

If he said no, she’d break away. Her body screamed at her not to, but Sin had toys that could take the edge of. Toys, as much fun as they could be, didn’t replace the feel of a person. Of a heartbeat, of someone screaming her name.

“You sure about this?” he asked.

Her body was thrumming with need, with wanting, and somehow, she knew that cowboy act of his would drive her wild in the bedroom. Sin needed a release, and she could tell by his throbbing cock that Hunter wanted her just as much.

“As long as you don’t get attached after tonight,” she gave him an impish grin. “Then hell yes.”

Natasha grew up as a tomboy hanging with the guys, getting skinned knees, and swimming under the South Florida sun. Tattoos, Jack Daniels, and lounging at the pool are three of her favorite things. She is a wife, a mother, has two fur babies who love puppy piles, and the status of her sanity is pending.
